Diamond Brand Canvas Products was established in Philadelphia in 1881. We have been involved in the sewn products industry since 1920 when we began to manufacture tarpaulins and other similar heavy canvas items. We manufactured the very first backpack for Boy Scouts of America in 1931. Today we still manufacture packs for Boy Scouts, as well as a myriad of other products, ranging from wall tents (along with their wooden, steel or aluminum poles and frames) to sashes for merit badges.
