Caldwell Fork Trail/Boogerman
Loop
Written by Heidi Gritsavage, DBO Staff
Description:
The Caldwell Fork Trail/Boogerman
Loop is approximately 7.5 miles round trip of spectacular wooded
scenery. You will cross several log bridges, pass old homesites
and enjoy a great deal of solitude in another beautiful section
of the Great Smoky Mountains. There are several ups and downs,
and the trail markers follow some very old roads and pass some
of the biggest trees in the area. The footbridges look over crystal
clear streams with some falls and riffles pouring into them. |
