Put-In:
Exit 22 (Upward Rd.) off of I-26, head East which is away from
Hendersonville, turn right onto Big Hungry Rd. Follow it down
to a fork; take the left fork. Follow it down to another fork;
take the right fork. Stay on this until you see Gallimore Rd.
on your right. Follow this down to the bottom, where you will
park in a gravel parking lot. You will have to pay to park here.
You can either buy a years-parking pass or pay by the day. You
will cross back over the gravel road, and hike down the trail
to the river. It is about a 15-minute walk.
Take-Out:
Exit 28 (Saluda Exit) off of I-26, head East which is away from
Hendersonville of Saluda, turn left onto Green River Cove Rd.
You will follow this all the way down the mountain. You will be
going down a steep and narrow road with a lot of switchbacks.
Follow it to the bottom of the mountain, and you will see a large
gravel parking lot on the left. This is the take out.
