Diamond Brand Canvas Products was established in Philadelphia in 1881.   We have been a leader in the manufacturing of fabric-based sewn gear since 1920 when we began to manufacture tarpaulins and other similar heavy canvas products.  We manufactured the very first backpack for the Boy Scouts of America in 1931.  Today, we still manufacture for the Boy Scouts, as well as other products including military gear, outdoor gear, water sports gear and a proprietary line of dive luggage and bags.
